December News 2009 – Merry Christmas Everyone!Christmas Concerts…
After coming third position at the recent Leicester Contest it was a fabulous start to the festive season for the band and new conductor, Alwyn. It has certainly put us in the Christmas spirit and we are now looking forward to the upcoming Christmas concerts including, Chichester Carolcade, Oakham Church, The Y Theatre and Leicester City Football Club.
Christmas Cheer…
It is a pleasure playing music for people all year round, however, it is an extra joy at Christmas time as we get the chance to play all the golden oldies and festive carols, which brings Christmas cheer to, not only the players, but all the audiences we have the pleasure of playing to.

As we begin to prepare for the Butlins Contest in January, Foresters Brass 2000 would like to thank those who have supported us throughout this year and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. We look forward to seeing you in the New Year.
