Foresters' Remembrance Day

Members of the band were out early on Sunday morning at the annual Burbage Remembrance Sunday parade and service in honour and respect of those that have fought for their country.

The band played so respectfully, and although chilly was a beautiful day.

It was an honour to play at the event, and look forward to playing next year.

Many thanks to Andy McKeown, Chris Warner, Freya Lunn, Carole Atkinson, Bethan Brown, and Randy Husdon for their contribution to such an important day. Solo cornet Steph Ayton also honoured the day playing The Last Post in Barlestone, and at St Peters Church in Leicester for the lovely Vicar at our bandroom. They are all a credit to the band.
